Each January since 1921 The Winton Club holds its annual fundraiser show - The Winton Club Cabaret.  In all that time only one show has been missed, in 1944, due to World War II.

The Cabaret cast and crew consists of Winton members, their husbands, and lots and lots of talented individuals from Winchester and surrounding communities.  The club hires a limited number of production professionals for each year's production.  All other participants are volunteers who donate their time and talents.  Auditions are usually held in early December, and rehearsals begin the first weeknight after the 1st of January.  The show runs the last week of January, often spilling into February.  Some years this means only three weeks of rehearsal before opening night, but every year the group rises to the occasion, pulls together, puts on an awesome show and raises thousands of dollars for the Winchester Hospital.

Opening night is always the last Tuesday in January.  The show runs every night for five consecutive nights, with closing night on Saturday night.  Thursday night is hospital nights, where many audience and cast members are employees of Winchester Hospital!

Plans are already underway for Cabaret 2006.  Advertising information for 2006 will be available in May.  Audition information for 2006 will be available in November.
